In their annual Summer Concert and Leavers’ Concert, Guernsey Music Centre students showcase their hard work with an evening of varied and entertaining music.

The Guernsey Youth Orchestra will perform Bizet’s Farandole, Andante Festivo by Sibelius, the Lee Actor Timpani Concerto featuring Joseph Hilley on solo timpani and music from the film and stage show ‘Grease’. The Concert Wind Band will feature music from the film and stage musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ plus ‘Doyen’ by Goff Richards and the traditional Kenneth Alford march ‘Voice of the Guns’. The performance will also feature a selection of music by the Guernsey Youth Choir including Fly to Paradise by Eric Whitacre and The Lion King Medley by Elton John.
