Marooned Awakening World Premiere

Join the star-studded cast and crew behind the locally produced feature film: ‘Marooned Awakening’, for the Red-Carpet World Premiere.

The film stars Murray McArthur (Wonka, The Northman, Game of Thrones), Tilly Keeper (EastEnders) and Tim McInnerney (Notting Hill, 101 Dalmations, Blackadder). They are joined by local actors Cameron Ashplant and Brian Webster.

At the Black Tie event there will be a live string quartet, photographers, an included drinks reception and the first public screening of the movie. Also included in the ticket price is an exclusive souvenir brochure of the making of the film, as well as access to the original production costumes. This thriller is the largest feature film to be shot entirely in Guernsey in over 3 decades. It has acquired a large international following, including reports from the Hollywood Press.

The Film follows Alex (Ashplant), an aspiring young journalist who dreams of leaving his island home, as he journeys through distorted memories of his fisherman father (McArthur), loving girlfriend (Keeper) and a recent accident. McInnerny will play Karl, a press editor who offers the protagonist a new life as a journalist on the mainland. The Film is produced by Across the Channel Productions and Ivy Gate Films, with the support of Guernsey Arts. The Film was shot entirely in Guernsey with locations in each and every parish. The producers are Ashplant, Frances and Roger Le Tissier.
