Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the broken pieces with lacquer dusted or mixed with gold, silver, or platinum. It literally means "golden joinery" or "golden repair". Rather than hiding the damage, kintsugi highlights the repair, emphasizing the object's history and creating a unique, more beautiful piece.
Come spend a relaxing hour or so learning this amazing art and creat something beautiful. All materials will be supplied (including a choice of one piece of crockery) along with refreshments and the important snacks!
Please note that the finished piece should be used for decoration only as it will not be food safe.
