St Saviour's Church is holding a series of concerts this year. All are free entry with refreshments in the interval and a retiring collection split between the church and usually the charity supported by the artists.

Sarnia Versatile Brass - A ten-piece ensemble formed recently by certain members of the Guernsey Concert Brass, led by Colin Solway. Hear them liven up April Fool’s Day and kick off our 2022 Concert Series.
29 April
Le Jazz Accord - This fantastic group has delighted the audiences in St Peter Port/St James for 10 years - now for the first time at St Saviour’s. American song book, Blues, Latin, Be-bop and beyond! The band comprise a classic jazz quintet line-up of sax/trumpet/piano/bass/drums, supplemented by swinging vocals. The church will be dressed with flowers for Easter.
6 May
Guernsey Music Centre - Youth Chamber Orchestra and String Chamber groups Following a very popular concert in 2021, Carmen Craven-Grew conducts the Music Centre ensemble in an evening of music ranging from Mozart to Scott Joplin and including the first two movements of Telemann Viola Concerto. Local talent at its best!
10 June
Guernsey Welsh - Male Voice Choir A regular contributor to the concert series, the choir returns with a light and varied programme in the middle of the St Saviour’s Summer Flower Festival.
19 August
Louise Madden & Emily Linane - These two talented ladies return home from their UK music colleges and combine to bring us a delightful vocal programme, with accompanist.
16 September
Bordeaux Blue Rhythm guitarist & vocalist Ernie Rosquet, plus Paul, Andy & Glenn - regulars at the Cock & Bull - will delight us in concert for the first time with their unique blend of Blues and Jazz from the 1920’s onwards. As Duke Ellington said: “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing!”.
7 October
Mariposa Strings Returning by popular demand after their superb concert last October this mega-talented group of professional musicians will entertain us with a mix of classical and modern pieces. Don’t miss this them! The church will be dressed for the Harvest Festival.
11 November
Guernsey Concert Brass Following a brilliant performance last October, the band return to entertain us with a fabulous and varied programme at St Saviour amid the renowned Remembrance Week display.
