Summer Holiday Art Club | Iris & Dora

The Iris & Dora Summer holiday club is back with a bang!

Join us for fun filled week of creativity,  jam packed with more activities that you would think possible in just a single week…

We will be exploring a variety of different art styles and mediums and will be working on both individual and collaborative projects. All pieces will be showcased in a vibrant exhibition on the Friday afternoon in our new town hub, presented and curated by the students themselves.

• Monday (Main studio at Ruette Braye) – Ceramics day! Pottery wheel and ceramic hand-building
• Tuesday (Main Studio at Ruette Braye) – Textiles day! Screen printing, sewing and embroidery
• Wednesday (Main Studio at Ruette Braye) – Painting day! Glass and acrylic painting
• Thursday (Our new town hub in the arcade) – Texture day! Collage, wet-felting and wool art
• Friday (Our new town hub in the arcade) – Finishing, curating, exhibiting in our new wonderful town location

Please note that activities may change to a different day in the week if the leading staff member is unable to run the session.

This club will run from Monday 14th to  Friday 18th August,  from  9am-3pm and is available to children aged 8-16 years old. Please note that there is the option for an earlier drop off at 8.45am to support those with work and prior commitments. This year we will have the first three days in our main studio at Ruette Braye and the final two days in our new fabulous town hub, ready for an exciting final exhibition.

This class is limited to 12 children.

Please come dressed for mess!

Students will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks, drink, suncream and sunhat with you. Please apply suncream before arrival as we may be spending some of our time outside.
