Painting with Mixed Media - Explore, Experiment, Create

This course invites anyone with an interest in painting to explore and expand their creative ability through mixed media. It is open to all levels, whether you are beginner or someone looking to reconnect with their creativity.

The focus of the session is on experimentation and discovery.

Participants will be encouraged to try new techniques and materials, and to step outside their usual ways of working in relaxed and supportive environment.

Alongside painting, the course includes gentle exercises that incorporate relaxation and mindful creativity. These moments are designed to help and slow down, become more present, and connect with creative process.

Rather then focusing on producing a finished painting, the course emphasises the foundation of painting practice: understanding colour, exploring mark making, experimenting with blending colours and developing confidence with materials.

This is a space to play, and develop your artistic voice while enjoying the process of painting.
