Creative Sark Writing Workshop with Siya Turabi
11am - 4:40pm
Join Siya Turabi, writing mentor, poet
and novelist, in a relaxed workshop in
the Cider Barn, Sark's quirkiest heritage
building.
The day starts with short poetry and prose
readings to warm us up. We'll respond to
objects, words, and themes around Sark's
natural world. Perhaps we'll be inspired to
dive into spontaneous writing, and we'll
talk about what island life means for you.
Well end the day with free writing in
response to the day's themes and any
emerging topics that have resonated with
you. Writing can be dialogue, prose or
poetry and all levels of experience are very
welcome.
Tickets £20
