Experience Cuba’s most internationally acclaimed guitar duo, featuring the trailblazing collaboration between Grammy-nominated composer Eduardo Martín and virtuoso guitarist Ahmed Dickinson Cárdenas. Their intergenerational partnership celebrates the depth and diversity of Cuban guitar music, weaving together classical, Afro-Cuban, jazz, rock, and cinematic influences into a vibrant and emotionally rich dialogue.

Ahmed Dickinson Cárdenas is one of the foremost ambassadors of Cuban classical guitar. A sophisticated performer and tireless advocate for his country’s music, he has carved out a unique path that bridges Cuba’s cultural heritage with the dynamism of the UK’s classical and world music scenes. Based in London, Dickinson Cárdenas has performed at major international venues and festivals, released award-winning recordings, and collaborated with renowned composers, including a decade-long partnership with Ñico Rojas. His playing is praised for its warmth, clarity, and lyrical intensity.

Eduardo Martín, born in Havana in 1956, is one of the most influential living guitarist-composers in Latin America. A graduate of Cuba’s Instituto Superior de Arte and a former student of Isaac Nicola, Martín has created a prolific body of work that spans solo, chamber, and orchestral music. His compositions, performed across five continents, fuse Caribbean rhythms with European classical traditions and modern idioms. He has toured extensively, received numerous international awards, and inspired generations of musicians through his teaching, recordings, and artistic leadership.

Together, Dickinson Cárdenas and Martín embody a powerful artistic synergy. This collaboration is more than a concert—it is a sonic journey where generations meet, traditions evolve, and Cuban identity resonates on a global stage.
