Guernsey Improbables: Improv Musical Workshop
Guernsey Improbables to Host First Ever Improv Musical Workshop – A Day of Spontaneous Fun and Creativity!
Get ready to unleash your inner performer! The Guernsey Improbables, the island's premier improv troupe, are thrilled to announce their first-ever Improv Musical Workshop, led by improv veteran Sarah Hansmann and musical theatre aficionado Stephen Rouxel. This exciting event will take place on Saturday, 17th August, at the Avril Earl Dance & Theatre Arts Centre Guernsey.
This all-day workshop is designed for everyone, regardless of experience. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a complete newbie, all you need is an appetite for adventure and a willingness to give it a go! Participants will dive into the world of musical improv, learning to create scenes, characters, and songs on the fly, all in a supportive and fun environment.
Sarah Hansmann brings her extensive expertise in improv, ensuring a day filled with creativity, laughter, and learning. Joining her is Stephen Rouxel, a familiar face to GADOC audiences and a member of both the Edinburgh Improbables and the Guernsey Improbables. With his rich background in musical theatre, Stephen promises to bring a wealth of knowledge and a touch of theatrical flair to the workshop.
But the fun doesn't stop there! As a special treat, the day will culminate in a spectacular improv musical showcase featuring Sarah, Stephen, and the workshop participants. This live performance will be an unforgettable evening of spontaneous entertainment, where anything can happen!
Tickets for the showcase are just £7 and are expected to sell out quickly, so early booking is highly recommended.
