Saturday Winter Concert

In their annual Winter Concert series, Guernsey Music Centre students showcase their hard work with an evening of varied and entertaining music.

The Youth Orchestra will perform Estancia Dances (movement 1) by Ginastera, the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Symphony No.7, Highland Cathedral arr. Poever/Corb (including a surprise appearance), and a Star Wars Epic by John Williams arr. Smith.

The Concert Wind Band will be performing the Raider's March from the Indiana Jones Films, A Welsh Rhapsody arr. Grundman, Top Malo March by Richard Waterer and David Bowie's 'Life on Mars'.

The Youth Choir will be performing The Battle of Jericho arr. by Moses Hogan, Loch Lomond arr. Jonathan Quick (Soloists Ben Davidson, Bella Vaudin) Bogoroditse Devo by Rachmaninov and Let The River Run arr. by Craig Hella Johnson
