Get ready to (Lobster &) chill with amazing music and good company at Le Friquet x Fern Fest!

Le Friquet Fern Fest is a boutique outdoor concert bringing something a little different to Guernsey this summer, with a chic country festival-style set up.

From 2:00pm, arrive to the sounds of the Mariposa String Quartet, opening the afternoon with a Bridgerton-inspired take on modern hits. Recognisable favourites are performed with a classical touch, setting the tone for the afternoon.

As the day unfolds, entertainment drifts through the crowd. A roaming magician adds moments of surprise, while Jimbo Jonez brings the beats and Colin Falla layers in smooth, funk-led sax. Drinks in hand, good energy all around, and the space slowly coming to life.

Just when it feels like it couldn’t get any better, Emily Fern takes to the stage with her full band, performing in Guernsey for the first time. Her live set blends pop and soul influences, inspired by artists from Olivia Dean to The Cranberries! Expect a mix of sing-along favourites, her upcoming release “Closer”, and maybe even a few unreleased tracks.

Guests can enjoy drinks from the outdoor Liberation bar, alongside a selection of curated food options. Charcuterie boards from the hotel will also be available to pre-order.

For those looking to settle in for the full afternoon, The Lobster & Grill will offer a limited number of patio table bookings with a set summer menu. Each reservation secures your table for the entire duration of the event, creating a more relaxed, seated experience throughout. Spaces are expected to fill quickly, so guests are encouraged to contact the hotel directly at jimmy@lefriquethotel.co.uk. Pricing is £85 per person, with tables available for groups of four or more. This includes event entry.

For those wanting something a little more Premium, the VIP experience offers priority entry & access to a private bar lane (skip the queues!), a charcuterie board, six drink tokens, professional photo opportunity and guaranteed seating right next to the stage. The VIP area will also host the roaming magician and act as a relaxed hangout space for performers, Its definitely the cool side of the fest, Very limited tickets!
