Marooned Awakening Q and A Screening

The Q and A event will begin with a screening of the movie in the Beau Sejour theatre. Following this the audience is given an opportunity to ask questions to a panel of the actors and filmmakers, including the lead actors and producers. This local thriller has acquired a large international following, including reports from the Hollywood Press. You will be only the second audience to watch the film and the first to ask questions.

The Film follows Alex (Ashplant), an aspiring young journalist who dreams of leaving his island home for a job on the mainland. When a leading press editor (McInnerny) offers Alex his dream job, he is asked to complete one final investigation. This forces Alex to journey through distorted memories of his fisherman father (McArthur), loving girlfriend (Keeper) and a recent boat accident. Nothing is as it first seems. The Film is produced by Across the Channel Productions and Ivy Gate Films, with the support of Guernsey Arts. The Film was shot entirely in Guernsey, with production taking place in all of the island's parishes.
