Memories of Gleneagles by John McDonald

Floral Designer, John McDonald, has had 30 years in the floristry industry having run his own shop in Dundee and then moving to the renowned Gleneagles Hotel where he headed up the floral team for over 10 years.

An avid demonstrator, he also enjoys competition work. He has won gold twice at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with Best in Show in 2019. Now he is best known as the presenter on the YouTube channel ‘ Flower Joos’ which creates weekly design ideas and has 140,000 subscribers.

John will be creating Grand Designs (see the video below) and include some Japanese minimalist Ikebana style designs, his current passion.
