There are eight plays mainly celebrating Youth Drama and representing GADOC, Avril Earl Dance and Theatre Arts Centre, Grammar School, St. Stephen's Players, Cheshire Dramatic Arts Academy and Music Box. All the competitors have had to work to strict festival rules

Each night of Performances starts at 7.30pm. Prices for each evening £9 plus 7.5% booking fee – there are no concessions. Interval of 15mins between each play. 4 Night tickets are £30 plus 7.5% booking fee and entitle the purchaser to a seat for each of the 4 nights and a voting card. Season tickets must be purchased by 7.30pm on the opening night and are only available at the box offices.

Tuesday's offering is first The Genuine Genie This genie is not traditional and wants three wishes granted to him instead. The second play is The Untold Story of Rose Red, an unexpected hero appears here.

Wednesday brings us three plays. First we have The Red Shoes, where the magic shoes turn into a curse. The Fairy Tale Invasion follows. Is it a dream or a nightmare when fairy story characters turn up in Ava's bedroom? The last play Lockdown may have you on the edge of your seats.

On Thursday we finish with The Game of Tiaras – a parody of the Game of Thrones. Then comes the adjudicators final thoughts and the excitement of hearing the trophy winners.
