Whispers of Freedom (screening)

Described by Deadline Hollywood as the "tragic true story" of Chris Gueffroy, Whispers of Freedom follows one of the last daring attempts to escape across the infamous Berlin Wall. Starring Cameron Ashplant (The Last Bus), Wendy Makkena (Sister Act), Darragh Cowley (Masters of the Air) and a roster of local actors, the film is written and directed by local filmmaker Brandon Ashplant and produced by Academy Award® nominee Jonathan Tammuz.

Following the World Premiere at BIFA-qualifying Sunderland Shorts Film Festival, join us on Friday 12th September as we host the Guernsey Premiere of this locally shot and produced film at the PRCPA - with cast and crew in attendance. Audience members are invited to ask questions during the post-screening Q&A.
