2023 Guernsey Arts Open

Guernsey Arts is proud to present the 2023 Open Exhibition, in its fourth year, the event truly established in bringing artists together in celebrating the talent we have within the Bailiwick.

This year we have seen an unprecedented forty percent increase in artists submitting work. We need no more validation than this in the value of the Open to the community. We understand the importance the exhibition plays in bringing artists together and over the four years we have seen the event act as a catalyst for collaboration, inspiration, and importantly a place for new, upcoming, and recently arrived artists to the islands to exhibit alongside established artists and to be introduced to the community meeting likeminded people, building friendships.

In hosting the free exhibition at the George Crossan Gallery, we make the work accessible to the wider community to enjoy and we thank Bailiwick estates for their continued support in enabling this.

A special mention to the judging panel and the team at Guernsey Arts for the great work in organising and curating the project, with particular thanks to Jared.

Finally, we thank all the artists that have contributed to the exhibition, the creative talent on show is truly inspiring.
