MEMBERSHIP LAUNCH

BE PART OF IT - Guernsey Arts Launches Membership Scheme & Guernsey Arts Day to support the Arts Community.

Guernsey Arts is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Membership Scheme, inviting art lovers and supporters to join a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the arts scene in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

The membership scheme is being officially launched on the 22 February at Government House by Guernsey Arts’ patron Mrs Louise Cripwell, with new event Guernsey Arts Day being hosted in Market Square from 10am on Saturday 24 February.

About Guernsey Arts

Guernsey Arts is the umbrella charity which directly supports Island artists and Bailiwick arts organisations in a wide variety of arts disciplines including performing
arts, dance, visual arts, music and literature. Established in 2008 as the Guernsey Arts Commission, the charity offers grant funding, advice, networking and inspiration,
as well as creating and curating events across the whole community. Resources are used wisely to support all facets of the arts community.

About the Membership Scheme

Guernsey Arts is launching its membership scheme to increase its funding capabilities, ensuring that the arts remain a critical component of Island life within
the community - and accessible to all. Membership with Guernsey Arts is more than just a financial contribution; it's an opportunity to be part of a supportive network that values creativity and cultural expression and seeds opportunities for all within the arts in Guernsey.

By becoming a member of Guernsey Arts, individuals can choose from four distinct levels of support - Magenta, Emerald, Saffron, and Azure - each offering unique
benefits and privileges, whilst directly supporting the growth of all art forms in Guernsey. From exclusive access to events and exhibitions to the chance to connect
with fellow art enthusiasts, Guernsey Arts Membership promises a rewarding experience for all.

"Membership with Guernsey Arts is all about being part of a community. Your contributions aid our valuable work, are a cost-effective investment in the arts, and
put you at the heart of our vibrant arts scene." - Jennifer Strachan, Funding Committee Member at Guernsey Arts and Associate Director of Sustainability for
IAM Advisory.

By joining the Guernsey Arts membership scheme, Islanders can be part of a growing movement that celebrates creativity, diversity, and the power of the arts. For more information on how to become a member or to support Guernsey Arts through a donation, please visit the website at www.arts.gg/donate or contact Louise Le

All funds raised are reinvested in the arts within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

Guernsey Arts Day

Guernsey Arts Day is a new initiative from Guernsey Arts to celebrate the arts in the Bailiwick. Join the Guernsey Arts team and supporters for a fun filled day of free
activities in Market Square on 24 February. There will be performances throughout the day from Lé Quartaette, Jon Shaban, Clameur de Haro and the cast from GADOC’s Guys and Dolls and more. Come and be a part of Les Residences Croisées by creating a ceramic leaf with artist Yasmin Atkinson, who will be in situ throughout the day.

Several buildings on island including Beau Séjour, Government House, St James and Fort Grey will be lit up in Guernsey Arts’ magenta colour to raise awareness of
the amazing arts scene on island. The Guernsey Arts team will also be available to meet for all queries relating to membership, grants funding and upcoming opportunities from 12 - 2pm 21 - 23 February in the OSA Pop Up Shop and 10am - 4pm on 24 February in the Market Square pop up area.
