I studied ceramics at the world renowned Harrow college and after taking a sabbatical I set up my new studio in 2022.

Being a passionate ceramic artist my work is deeply rooted in traditional wheel-throwing and experimental firing methods.

Every piece I create begins on the potter’s wheel, where I shape forms that become the canvas for my unique surface explorations. Fascinated by alternative firing techniques, I built and continue to use my own kiln, tailoring it to achieve the results I envision.

My particular interest lies in saggar firings, a process that allows chance and natural materials to leave their mark on the clay. Always curious, I experiment with an array of combustibles such as - real snake skin, straw, salts, seaweeds, and copper wire - each leaving distinct colours, textures, and patterns on my pots. The results are strikingly unpredictable, with every vessel capturing a moment of transformation through fire and material.

For me, this dialogue between form, flame, and nature is what gives my work its individuality and vitality. My ceramics are not only functional but also meditations on process, chance, and the beauty of imperfection.
