I am Isoi Luseka, a wildlife and landscape photographer whose work is rooted in storytelling. For me, photography begins with the eyes of animals — their gaze reveals strength, vulnerability, and connection in ways words never could. Growing up surrounded by African wildlife and vast landscapes shaped my creative voice, and now in Guernsey I continue to explore the relationship between people, animals, and the land.

My inspiration comes from moments of emotion in the natural world — the calm power of elephants, the commanding presence of a lioness, the delicate stillness of a bird on the water. Each photograph I create is more than an image; it is a fragment of a story that invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect.

So far, my work has grown into a portfolio and canvas collection that has opened opportunities to engage with the local arts community. My goal is to share these stories more widely — through exhibitions, collaborations, and public displays — to inspire appreciation for both distant wildlife and the beauty of Guernsey’s own landscapes.

Ultimately, my work is about connection: reminding us that whether through the eyes of an elephant, the glow of a sunset, or the horizon of an island, we are all part of something greater.
