There will be awards for the best submissions: 

Adult prize:  £500  

Student prize (19 years and under):  £250

Guernsey Arts is excited to welcome submissions from local artist for the return of Guernsey Arts Open 2021. With an opportunity to exhibit at the George Crossan Gallery in November 2021. All entries will feature in an online exhibition. 

With the success of The Guernsey Arts Open 2020 competition; 83 artists submitted 240 artworks,  exhibition featured 61 of these artists work physically in the gallery, with all 240 artworks displayed digitally.

Our aim with the support of Bailiwick Estates is for the exhibition to highlight the strength of our island’s artistic talent, and we are particularly keen to hear from young or emerging artists of all kinds. Submissions for the exhibition can be in any art form including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textiles, illustration, graphics and digital art.
