Arts Foundation Guernsey
Raising funds for the Arts
Who we are
What we do
Funds raised by the Arts Foundation Guernsey (AFG) underpin and fortify the GA grant giving activities across the whole spectrum of artistic endeavours in the islands.
By raising needed funds for the arts, AFG helps to put the arts on a solid financial footing so that they may continue to play a major role in the life and wellbeing of islanders. Set up in 2016, the AFG has charitable status and is independent of GA. The Patron of the AFG is Lady Corder, wife of the Lieutenant Governor.
Since its inception, the Arts Foundation has raised over £100,000 from donations and local fund raising events. AFG aims to support existing talent and foster emerging talent across the whole spectrum of the arts including Performing and Visual Arts, Literature, Music, New Media, Film and Design.
Sponsored by Arts Foundation Guernsey
The Arts Foundation often focus on less traditional funding requirements that are not able to access the funding from the States of Guernsey allocated by Guernsey Arts. To this end we enable emerging talent across the spectrum of the arts including Performing and Visual Arts, Music, Literature, New Media, Film and Design.
