Who we are

Guernsey Arts Funding Committee raises funds with the aim of strengthening the support and development of the arts in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

What we do

By raising needed funds for the arts, Guernsey Arts Funding Committee helps to put the arts on a solid financial footing so that they may continue to play a major role in the life and wellbeing of islanders.

Arts Foundation Guernsey has now merged with Guernsey Arts in order to step up fund raising efforts for support of the arts, in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Formed in 2016, Arts Foundation Guernsey had raised more than £150,000 from generous patrons, mainly by organising a small number of major fund raising events, such as the Premier screening of the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society film, a performance of the opera La Bohème by OperaUpClose in 2019 and the Opera Cocktail in 2021.

Funds raised have supported many Guernsey events such as Art Sundays, Exhibitions in the Greenhouse Gallery, Art on the Beach, a theatre production of GROWTH, a play raising awareness of testicular cancer in young men, and an Outreach programme in Les Genats housing estate.

Sponsored by Arts Foundation Guernsey

Previous to merging with Guernsey Arts, Arts Foundation Guernsey were the sponsors of the following events.
